With the end of October comes the end of turbine tower construction at Pennask, and the start of pre-commissioning.
Now visible from Highway 97C, each turbine will be tested to ensure all controls and
components are prepared for operations. Standard electrical tests and routine civil engineering inspections are being performed for the towers as well as for the connections back to the substation.
This work is vital to ensuring the quality of the Okanagan Wind facilities, setting them up to be well maintained throughout operations.
