Workers install the first turbine foundation mud mat at Pennask.

Wind turbines at the Okanagan Wind facilities will stand 100 metres tall, with their height and weight supported by base foundations. Once completed, these foundations will consist of concrete strengthened with steel reinforcement bar (rebar).
